The Many Delights of Tea

Tea the magnificent Cup of Humanity, 'began as
a medicine, grew into a beverage, was valued as a currency, helped to establish social order,
and has been the fundamental touchstone of serenity, peace, and civilized living for five millennium.'
Dragon Spirit by R. Rubin.

The more I learn about tea, the more I marvel at how it has linked the human family.
Not only is it the most consumed beverage around the globe after water, tea has inspired and provoked
many aspects of human culture. I hope this small tribute to camellia sinensis, the tea plant,
delights you and perhaps inspires you to explore more!
